The company presented its next-generation seat, the DynaView Gondola, and the new Condor 2GH DynaView at IAAPA Expo Europe in London
Huss Park Attractions, the German ride manufacturer, revealed a new passenger seating standard, the DynaView Gondola, at IAAPA Expo Europe 2026, alongside the Condor 2GH DynaView, a new-generation version of the HUSS Condor that brings motion directly to the rider.
Designed with the future of amusement rides in mind, the new HUSS seating system and DynaView Gondola aim to enhance comfort, provide greater freedom and accessibility, and expand opportunities for both riders and operators.
A new seating standard
For more than two years, HUSS has been developing a new generation of passenger seating, designed around the needs of today’s riders, and tomorrow’s.
Passenger expectations are changing, and modern attractions need to deliver an experience that feels comfortable, secure and natural for a wider range of guests. The new HUSS seat has been engineered around this principle.
The seat features an ergonomic, open, and modern design that offers more personal space and comfort while still feeling secure. Instead of a traditional shoulder restraint, it uses a lap restraint, allowing greater freedom of movement without compromising safety.
This design aims to accommodate riders of all sizes, providing a more natural and comfortable seating experience without the sensation of being squeezed or restricted.
But the new seat is about more than the rider experience. Developed as a versatile platform for the future of HUSS attractions, this design enables integrated on-board audio, creating new possibilities for storytelling, music, and immersive ride experiences.
The seat can also be customized to match the identity of a park, attraction, or brand, with options for colors, finishes, integrated design elements, and future audio features.
This new seating standard aims to be a creative element of the attraction, not just a functional part.
The new design also offers tangible benefits for operators. Quick, intuitive boarding and unloading enhance operational efficiency, while the up-and-over access system makes entry simpler for guests with limited mobility.
This results in a seating platform that blends ergonomics, visual appeal, accessibility, operational performance, and freedom into a unique new HUSS design. The updated seating standard is being crafted for application across many HUSS attractions, ensuring a consistent next-generation passenger experience throughout the company's product lineup.
Introducing DynaView
While the new HUSS seat rethinks the connection between rider and restraint, the DynaView Gondola takes the passenger's ride experience to a whole new level by making the gondola itself an active part of the ride.
Developed through HUSS Motion Engineering, DynaView introduces controlled movement directly to the passenger. Rather than simply following the ride's movement, the gondola actively changes its orientation, adding another layer of motion and interaction between rider and attraction.
The gondola's orientation is precision-controlled by an integrated control mechanism, allowing its position to be accurately defined and programmed throughout the ride cycle. Passengers can experience different perspectives, including forward, backward, face-in, face-out, tilted, upright, or spinning positions.
Every movement changes the view and every view changes the experience.
This gives ride designers greater control over the passenger experience. A ride can shift from a peaceful, panoramic cruise to an energetic sequence, with changes in gondola orientation creating different views and sensations throughout the cycle.
In Controlled mode, operators can precisely program the gondola's movement and orientation as part of the ride experience. This enables operators and creative teams to develop specific sequences, synchronize movement with the ride cycle, and use orientation as another tool for storytelling and theming.
In FreeFlow mode, the gondola responds naturally to the forces acting on it, with gravity and physics guiding its movement. The result is an organic, fluid motion that gives passengers a more natural sense of movement rather than following a fixed sequence.
Interactive mode adds another dimension, allowing passengers to influence their gondola's orientation and motion. This creates the potential for a more active, personalized ride experience, with the rider becoming part of how the attraction moves.
Together, the three motion modes give DynaView a flexible platform for creating different types of passenger experiences, from precisely choreographed movement to organic motion and direct rider interaction.
Condor 2GH DynaView
To showcase the full capabilities of this innovative technology, HUSS introduces the Condor 2GH DynaView.
The Condor is one of HUSS's most recognizable and successful attractions, featuring a 31-meter tower and distinctive rotating gyro frames. The Condor 2GH DynaView merges the HUSS Condor platform with the new DynaView Gondolas, delivering a new aerial ride experience.
The hybrid concept combines various passenger experiences within a single attraction, making the Condor 2GH DynaView appealing to a wide audience, from families to thrill-seekers.
The Condor is already accessible to guests at least 1.0 meter tall when accompanied by an adult, thus appealing to families. In response to strong demand, HUSS is currently also evaluating whether the minimum height can be reduced to 0.9 meters with adult accompaniment.
The attraction features two gyro frames with DynaView Gondolas and two with Classic Gondolas, accommodating up to 48 passengers, offering two different ride experiences – Adventure and Thrill – in one single attraction.
The ride combines vertical lift movement, central rotation, and counter-rotation of the gyro frames with the dynamic movement of the DynaView Gondolas and swinging Classic Gondolas. Passengers at the outer radius experience the Condor's sweeping motion, but with DynaView, the experience extends beyond the ride's movement.
The gondola adds an extra layer of motion, letting riders face the horizon, the center, tilt into the movement, or rotate to different viewing angles, turning each cycle into a constantly evolving 360-degree experience.
Ride programs can be customized to deliver a variety of experiences, ranging from scenic and panoramic to energetic and adrenaline-fueled, and the gondola's movement can enhance the attraction's narrative.
Designing for the future
With the new seating standard and DynaView, HUSS is not adding a single new ride feature but rather laying the groundwork for future HUSS attractions.
The redesigned seat is compatible with multiple HUSS ride systems, enhancing comfort, freedom of movement, accessibility, and visual appeal in upcoming rides. DynaView advances this concept by offering a new approach to passenger-controlled, dynamically programmed movement.
Together, these innovations open up new possibilities for ride programming, storytelling, theming, audio, and brand integration, while upholding HUSS's renowned engineering principles, operational reliability, and safety standards.
